Swami Dayanand Scholarship 2024: The Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF) provides the scholarship to the candidates who studied in the government or aided school in class 10th. The students who studied in private schools are not eligible for the scholarship program. The students who studied in the schools that are affiliated with state boards have to inform the foundations earlier so that their applications can be processed separately.
In the year 2023-24, SDEF has received 4800 applications and interviewed 700 applicants on the basis of their merit. As per SDEF, more than 70% of the students belonged to agriculture and labour income backgrounds and earned less than one lakh. Out of the total 4806 applications received by SDEF, 2547 candidates were studying engineering, 858 were studying medical courses, and the remaining 1401 students got admitted into other courses such as BA, B.Sc., pharmacy, agriculture, management, etc.
Swami Dayanand Scholarship 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The students who are interested in applying for the Swami Dayanand Scholarship should read all the eligibility criteria. The scholarship will be given to candidates who are in 1st year or 2nd year of their course and secured a certain rank in their entrance examination. - The scholarship is available for all undergraduate courses—engineering, medical, architecture, etc.—and other undergraduate courses.
- Students must have secured at least 80% in the CBSE Board or 70% or above marks in other boards in 12th class.
- Second-year students must have a CGPA of at least 8.0.
- Annual family income should be less than Rs 8 Lacs per annum.
- Only one year drop is allowed for technical courses.
- All India Overall rank should be less than 90,000 for architecture courses and 40,000 for medical courses.
- Age limit: 19 years for first-year students and 20 years for second-year students
Documents Required for Swami Dayanand Scholarship 2024
All the eligible students should keep all the documents handy before applying for the scholarship program, which includes recent photographs, class 10th and 12th marksheets, government photo ID proof, seat allotment letter, copy of fee receipt, etc. Check the list below for documents required to apply for the scholarship.

- Reference letter from two neighbours.
- Agricultural land documents/Pics of shop/self-declaration as per proforma given in application form.

Swami Dayananad Scholarship 2024: Online Application Process
The students who are eligible to apply for the scholarship and have relevant documents as listed above can apply for the scholarship following the steps mentioned below. The last date to apply online is December 31, 2024.

The candidates who successfully qualify for the scholarship will be awarded the scholarship amount of a maximum of Rs 50000 and the scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the Institute’s bank account only. Check the table below for the amount awarded to each student.
