Symbiosis International University 2012 Admission to BA LLB & BBA LLB Courses

Symbiosis International University (SIU) is a private co-educational, multi-institutional university located in Pune. Established in 2002, it has been given official recognition by the UGC and the AICTE. Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune is an integral part of the same educational managing body.  It is mandatory for the aspirants to take up the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for admission in SLS, Pune.

• Date for publishing the list of the selected candidates for GEPI: 23 May 2012

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in SLS, Pune

• Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) examination from any recognised Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST students) in one attempt (No compartment cases will be allowed). Students awaiting HSC results may also apply
• Age Limit (as on 5 May 2012): Maximum 20 years

Fee Structure for the Courses

For both Courses; BA LLB & BBA LLB: Rs 130000 per annum (Including caution deposit of Rs 5000)

Selection Procedure for Admission in SLS, Pune

Selection will be done in two phases:

• Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) score
• The short listed candidates will be invited for Group Exercise and Personal Interview (GEPI) at Symbiosis Law School, Pune and at Symbiosis Law School, Noida Campus, based on candidate's preference of location

Note: The final merit list shall be drawn on the basis of both the performances

How to Apply for Admission in SLS, Pune

The candidates need to apply online for SET registration through http://www.set-test.org/ . In addition to applicant has to fill up an online application form from the official website http://www.symlaw.ac.in/. The prospectus can be obtained from SIU only.

Examination Fee: Rs 1000

The payment for this can be made online by credit card along with the payment of SET registration OR by forwarding a Demand Draft in favour of Director, Symbiosis Law School payable at Pune, to the Institute OR by paying through credit card at the time of online application to the institute OR through Net Banking. In case payment is made by Demand Draft, then please mention your name and the SET ID number on the back side of the Demand Draft

Note: Without the payment of Examination Fee the student will not be allowed to sit for the GEPI
