• College Librarian in Government Arts and Science Colleges - 30 Posts
• District Library Officer - 09 Posts
• Assistant Librarian and Information Officer for Anna Centenary Library in Public Libraries Department - 03 Posts

Eligibility Criteria for College Librarian and Other Posts

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• College Librarian - Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade and  a consistently good academic record with knowledge on computerization of Library Passed NET/ SET in Library Science or Ph.D
• District Library Officer - Master’s degree in Arts and Science, Master’s degree in Library Science and 3 years experience in any of the Libraries in a Supervisory cadre.
• Assistant Librarian and Information Officer - Master’s degree of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission and  Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission

Age Limit:

• College Librarian and District Library Office -  35 Years
• Assistant Librarian and Information Officer - 30 years

No maximum age limit for SCs/ SC(A)/STs/MBCs/DCs/BCs/ and BCMs)

Selection Procedure for College Librarian and Other Posts

Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e. Objective Type Written Examination (500 Marks) and Interview (70 Marks)
