TNPSC Recruitment 2016 for 317 Typist & Other Posts

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invited the candidates for various profiles on direct recruitment basis. The candidates eligible for the post can apply online through TNPSC website on 03 August 2016.

Under TNPSC Recruitment 2016, out of total of 317 posts, 76 posts are allotted to Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judges, 07 posts are allotted to Personal Assistant (to the Registrars), 01 post is allotted to Personal Clerk (to the Deputy Registrars), 61 posts are allotted to Computer Operator, 84 posts are allotted to Typist, 80 posts are allotted to Reader / Examiner, 02 posts are allotted to Cashier and 06 posts are allotted to Xerox Operator.

Eligibility for Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judges, Personal Assistant (to the Registrars), Personal Clerk (to the Deputy Registrars) & Typist – Candidates must have any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline of a recognised University in Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern and must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand and Typewriting in English – Higher Grade. Candidates must have passed the Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.

Eligibility for Computer Operator – Candidates must have any Bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications from a recognised University of Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern (OR) any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline of a recognised University in Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with a diploma in Computer Applications from any recognised University or any Institute recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education. Candidates must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting in English and Tamil by Higher / Senior Grade.

Eligibility for Reader / Examiner, Xerox Operator, Cashier – Candidates must have any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline of a recognised University in Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern.
