1. JEE main
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the common engineering entrance test for science class 12 students with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM). The students who qualify this test can apply for admissions in the top engineering institutes of the country like NITs, IITs and centrally funded technical institutions like IIST.

2. JEE Advanced
If a student scores qualifying marks in JEE Mains, he/she is eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, which is the final screening for the admission in IITs, State and Central engineering institutes. This national level engineering entrance exam is the second stage of JEE. Only the top 2 lakh rankers of JEE mains are eligible for JEE Advanced.

3. SRMJEEE
SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) is a national level entrance test organized by SRM university for admission to undergraduate engineering programme offered at its four different campuses. Students can apply for the test on university’s official website: www.srmuniv.ac.in

Eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must have obtained 65% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in aggregate.
- For biotechnology, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics and genetic engineering, minimum 65% aggregate in Mathematics / Biology, Physics and Chemistry is required.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is an exam conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in the State.

5. BITSAT
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an entrance test for opting for engineering and other programs in BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. BITS offers various UG and PG courses in Technology, Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Humanities and Management.

6. AIPMT/NEET
Previously, All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. But now NEET (UG) has replaced AIPMT and other Medical entrance exam of under graduate level and the exam is conducted by CBSE. NEET is conducted by CBSE for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run by the government of India.

7. AIMS MBBS Exam
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS Entrance Exam, is national level UG medical entrance examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. It is organized for providing admission to MBBS programme offered by seven AIIMS institutions of the country.

8. JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam
This is a medical entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) for the admission of eligible applicants to MBBS course in the institute. This is one of the three UG medical entrance exams in India, the other two being NEET and AIIMS. Students can apply for the exam online on the official website jipmer.edu.in
Eligibility criteria:
- Students must have passed or appearing in class 12 (from CBSE/ UP board or any other state board) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology subjects with minimum 50% marks in PCB for general and 40% marks for reserved (SC/ST /OBC/ OPH).

9. Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Entrance Exam
Armed Forces Medical College is one of the top medical institutes in India. Indian Armed Forces is the main authority that manages this college. This is an all India entrance exam and it provides brightest career options in Indian defence services medical branch. The total number of MBBS seats available at this institute is 130, of which 25 seats reserve for girls and 105 for the boys. Out of the 130, ten seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates. 10. NDA & NA entrance Exam
Union Public Service Commission conducts National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) exams every year. It is a national level defence entrance examination for those students who wish to join Indian Armed Forces and serve the nation. After qualifying the test students get admission to National Defence Academy (NDA)where they are trained to get selected for Indian Armed Forces (Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy) as officers. Eligibility Criteria:
- Student must have passed or appearing in 12th (from CBSE/ UP board or any other state board) or equivalent with physics and mathematics subjects (For Air Force/ Naval Wings of National Defence Academy & for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy)
- Students must have cleared or appearing in 12th or equivalent exam (For Army Wing of National Defence Academy)
