Banaras Hindu University released test centres list allotted to the candidates for appearing in UGC National Eligibility Test to be conducted on 30 December 2012. Candidates can get information of venue for the examination as per their Roll number or name on the official website of BHU.
Candidates are advised to vigilantly check and verify their Roll no., name and subject code in the list of test venues and write down the Venue allotted to them on their admit cards. The coordinating University will not send any admit card individually to candidates. The system generated admit card that candidate has got during filling up the online application form is the valid admission certificate and candidates must bring that to the Test centre on the day of examination.
The registered candidates who have not submitted their application forms or attendance slip to the University are remarked to bring two copies of admission cards on the day of examination and one of it must be submitted to the invigilator on finishing the examination before leaving examination hall.
In addition to admission certificates, candidates should bring one of their photo IDs such as Voter ID Card, Driving License, College ID, Employee ID etc. to prove their candidature for the UGC NET examination. Electronic gadgets like Pager, cell phones, mobile phones etc are not permitted in the examination hall.
Founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, Banaras Hindu University is ranked among first few in the nation in the field of teaching and research. The University had been given the responsibility by UGC to effectively coordinate the examination for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Lectureship.
