UGC NET June 2013 Paper 1: General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude: Model Practice Paper

    University Grants Commission (UGC) is all set to organize the National Eligibility Test (NET) to check the Eligibility for Lectureship only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship both at various centers throughout India on 30 June 2013.

    The UGC NET June 2013 Paper 1 is common for all the candidates which consists of 60 questions out of which a candidate needs to attempt 50 questions. The maximum allotted number for the Paper 1 is 100 and the allowed time for attempting the questions if 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    The UGC NET June 2013 Paper 1 is to check the candidates’ efficiency on teaching aptitude, research aptitude, reading comprehension, data interpretation, reasoning, information and communication technology, people and environment and higher education system: governance, polity and administration.

    In order to qualify the UGC NET June 2013 Paper 1 candidates from the General Category need to secure at least 40% of the maximum marks while this cut-off for the reserved categories is 35%.
