The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) result was announced on 25 May 2011. The exams were organised on 16 April 2011 and 17 April 2011 by Mahamaya Technical University, Noida for admissions into colleges affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. The highest pass percentage of 90.47% was for the MBA program that saw 20,736 candidates qualifying the paper out of 22,918 candidates taking the paper.
The courses for which UPSEE exam was held are Engineering (B Tech), B Tech (Ag Engg), Pharmacy (B Pharma), Architecture (B Arch), Hotel Management (BHMCT), Fashion and Apparel Design Technology (BFAD) and post graduate courses like MCA and MBA. The topper for MBA entrance exam was Mohd Amir from Shahjahanpur.
The pass percentage for B Pharma stood lowest with only 12.39% candidates clearing the exam. The pass percentage for B Arch is 68.38%, for B Tech is 47.67% and for MCA is 31.95%. The counselling will start soon for candidates who have cleared the exam.
