Eligibility Criteria for Scientific/Technical Officer & Other Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Registrar: Master degree in any discipline or its equivalent.
Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or documentation or its equivalent.
Deputy Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or documentation or its equivalent.
Assistant Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or documentation or its equivalent and Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
Principal Scientific/Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech/MSc/MCA Degree in relevant field and consistently excellent academic record.
Scientific/Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech/MSc/MCA Degree in relevant field and consistently excellent academic record OR Employees of the Institute serving as Technical Assistant for minimum 6 years or higher in the Institute.
Senior Medical Officer: MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification or Post Graduate qualification, preferably MD, in General medicine from a reputed medical education institute.
Medical Officer: MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification.
Dy. Registrar: Master degree in any discipline or its equivalent.
Assistant Registrar (One post is for finance & accounts): Master degree in any discipline or its equivalent OR Employees of the institute serving as Superintendent (Selection Grade II) Or Secretary (Selection Grade II).
Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Officer: Master Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science or Fine Arts or Performing/Visual Arts, Journalism and Mass Communication with a consistently good academic record.
Age Limit:
- Registrar: Not exceeding 57 years
- Librarian: Not exceeding 55 years
- Deputy Librarian, Dy. Registrar, Principal Scientific/Technical Officer: Not exceeding 45 years
- Assistant Librarian, Medical Officer, Scientific/Technical Officer, Assistant Registrar(One post is for finance & accounts), Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Officer: Not exceeding 35 years
- Senior Medical Officer: Not exceeding 40 years
