Malayalam film director Madhu Kaithapram died

Eminent Malayalam film director Madhu Kaithapram died in Kozhikode on 29 December 2014 following a brief illness. He was 44.

•    Madhu Kaithapram made his directorial debut with the feature film Ekantham in 2006 that won him the National Film Award for the best debutant director.
•    His other directorial ventures were Madhya Venal (2009) and the family-drama Orma Mathram (2011).
•    His movie Madhya Venal won him the Kerala Film Critics Association Awards for the Film with Social Relevance and Commitment.
•    His last directorial venture was journalist John Brittas starrer "Velli Velichathil", which was released in 2014.
