SPJAT Exam Eligibility Criteria
An MBA aspirant with Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute can apply for the MBA programme conducted by SP Jain Institute. Final year candidates pursuing Bachelor’s degree can also apply for the course and college. The bachelor’s degree must be in English. The institute accept the score of SPJAT (S P Jain Aptitude Test) MBA entrance exam to grant admission to its affiliated colleges.
SPJAT Exam Application Process
To register for SPJAT, candidates are required to submit application form for the program in which they are interested. On submission, the initial status will be shown as ‘Screening in Progress’. If a candidate possess a valid SPJAT score, the institute will shortlist them directly for the Evaluation Round. If not, then the status will change to ‘Shortlisted for Aptitude Test’, which indicates that the candidate can login to student portal to register for SPJAT and needs to pay application fee to book the slot for Evaluation round. Application Fee for SPJAT Exam
An applicant needs to pay fee of Rs. 2800/- to register for the evaluation round in order to book the slot. The fee that is payable in international currency will automatically convert to INR at the prevailing exchange rate. Students can pay the test fee by means of a CREDIT CARD (an international Visa or MasterCard). Payment from any other mode will not be accepted.
SPJAT Exam Test Centres
The SPJAT is generally conducted at various test centres across India. At present there are 13 test locations wherein candidate can choose to appear for the test. The exam centre can be chosen at the time of filling the application form. However, right to allot the final exam centre which is mentioned on the admit card rests with the exam conducting body. The institute can change the exam centre anytime according to availability of seats.

SPJAT Exam Pattern
SPJAT exam aims to analyse and test the IQ of aspirants and hence questions from subjects such as mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability and general knowledge are featured in the exam.
Questions in general knowledge section are based on current events and test the business awareness. The duration of SPJAT Exam is 60 minutes (1 hour). The test consists of 40-45 questions. The format of the test varies from time to time but the sections remain the same. SPJAT Exam is conducted in online mode and there is differential negative marking scheme in the exam.

SPJAT Exam Results
The result of SPJAT Exam is generally released in the month of April, May, June and July for admission to all the four campuses. In order to access the admit card, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of SP Jain Institute i.e. www.spjain.org
- Click on the ‘SPJAT result’ tab
- Enter the Application number and password
- SPJAT Exam scorecard will appear on the screen
- Take a printout of SPJAT scorecard and keep it safe for future correspondence.
Based on the marks secured in SPJAT exam, a merit list is prepared and those candidates who have their names on the merit list are further called for the evaluation round. In the evaluation round various the essay writing, case studies, and Personal Interview takes place.
SPJAT Exam Cut-offs
SPJAT Exam cut-off is announced by SP Jain School on the official website of the institute i.e. www.spjain.org. Candidates can check the cut-off by as soon as it is made available for them to access on the website. Cut-off of SPJAT exam is the minimum marks that a candidate needs to obtain in order to qualify the test.
SP Jain institute provides an overall cut-off score along with sectional cut-off. Candidates are required to obtain 80 percentile or above in the SPJAT exam to qualify. Based on the percentile, candidates are shortlisted for the selection or evaluation process. Shortlisted candidates need to appear for essay writing rounds, analysing case studies and panel interviews.
