1. Netherlands

Netherlands is at the first place in the list of countries where per week working hours are least. Low level of unemployment and high income are key features of working community in Netherlands. Netherlands' government supports balanced, professional and personal growth, apart from this, part-time jobs are encouraged by the government and protection is provided to such workers by law. In Netherlands, employees work approximately 1,380 hours per year, i.e. on an average 27.5 hours per week.

2. Germany

In the list of countries where per week working hours are least, Germany is at the second place. In 2009, in Germany working hours of employees were set approximately 1,290 hours per year, but in recent years, working time has been increased to achieve better results.
