RPN Singh: Birth, Age, and Family
Kunwar Ratanjit Pratap Narain Singh aka RPN Singh was born on 25 April 1964. He hails from a royal Sainthwar family of Padrauna, Uttar Pradesh. The 57-year-old is an alumna of The Doon School and served as the president of The Doon School Old Boys' Society, Doon's alumni body, from 2014 to 2018.
He tied the knot with Sonia Singh on 7 December 2002 and the couple has three daughters. His wife serves as an anchor and editorial director at NDTV.
Kunwar C.P.N. Singh was his father who served as an MP of Hata (present-day Kushinagar) and a Minister of State for Defence in the Indira Gandhi cabinet in 1980.
RPN Singh Political Career
RPN Singh started his political career as the President of Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress in 1997 and served until 1999. He served as an MLA from Padrauna until 2009 when he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from the Padrauna constituency.
In 2003, he became an office-bearer of the AICC and was appointed as AICC secretary.
During the Congress administration, he served as the Minister of State in Road, Transport and Highways, Petroleum and Natural Gas and Corporate Affairs and Home Affairs.

Kunwar Ratanjit Pratap Narain Singh aka RPN Singh joined BJP on 25 January 2022 and is likely to be fielded from UP's Padrauna seat against SP’s Swami Prasad Maurya, who recently left BJP.
