AIIMS Counselling 2019: The counselling process for AIIMS MBBS 2019 along with mock allotment will begin today. AIIMS MBBS 2019 qualified candidates will be able to participate in the process of AIIMS counselling 2019. The dates for counselling of AIIMS 2019 were released along with AIIMS MBBS result 2019. The AIIMS 2019 counselling process will be conducted in the online mode. The registration process for the counselling will begin on 20th June, 2019, i.e. today. The detailed counselling notification will be made available on the official website – aiimsexams.org.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 counselling will be conducted in four rounds including an open round. An additional spot round may also be conducted by the regulatory body subject to the vacancy of seats. Only the candidates securing the minimum cut off percentage and equivalent marks will be eligible for counselling and admission process. For each round of counselling, candidates called in will be four times than the number of seats available for each category. Candidates will be called for AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019 based on the merit position obtained in the AIIMS MBBS merit list 2019 released along with the results.
To participate for AIIMS MBBS 2019 counselling, candidates need to register themselves. After the successful registration process, aspirants will be asked to opt to fill and lock the choices of colleges and courses. A mock counselling round will also be conducted before the actual first round to provide the candidates with an idea of filling/locking/edit/delete the choices. AIIMS MBBS mock seat allotment will also be conducted to give the candidates a fair idea.
AIIMS MBBS seat allotment will be done on the basis of AIIMS MBBS rank, preferences filled by the candidates and availability of seats. The result of counselling of first round AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be published in the second week of July. About 1,000 MBBS seats will be offered through AIIMS MBBS counselling for admission to 15 AIIMS institutes across India. AIIMS MBBS 2019 was conducted on 25th and 26th May, 2019 in the online mode as a computer based test.
