CBSE 12th Result 2021: As per the updates, the Central Board of Secondary Education will open the portal for moderation and finalization of class 12th results 2021 from tomorrow afternoon, 16th July. The authorities can operate the portal till 22nd July 2021 (midnight). The board has also asked schools to strictly follow the schedule as it is planning to release the result latest by 31st July. However, if any school could not complete the moderation within the designated time, their results will be declared after 31st July.

Notification by CBSE

The official notification reads, “Moderating marks of Class 11 and 12 will be a great responsibility, which has to be done in a manner to ensure justice and fairness to students.” The notice further states, “Schools will therefore have to, additionally, ensure that after moderation, the number of students with overall marks in the range of 95 and above, this year, is not more than the number of students scoring such overall marks, as per the best historic performance of the last three years.”

Board not Satisfied with the Marks Submitted

Earlier, on 13th July, has asked schools to be reasonable in awarding marks and reopened the portal. The board asked the affiliated schools to “relook” at the marks given to their students and mentioned that the board is not satisfied with the marks submitted. The CBSE has decided to reopen the portal and has asked schools to accordingly moderate the mark awarded by 17th July 2021.

The tabulation process had ended on 30th June 2021. With the new development, the board decided to reopen the portal and advised schools to follow the reference distribution while moderating the marks and ensure comparability while awarding higher marks to students.

CBSE 12th Exams 2021

This year, the CBSE board exams for class 12 was cancelled due to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country. The board decided to evaluate class 12 students based on 30% marks of the best three subjects of class 10, 30% marks of class 11, and 40% marks of unit test, mid-term or pre-board exams of class 12.

CBSE 10th Result 2021

As per the media reports, the CBSE class 10th result is expected to be announced by 20th July. Controller of Exam Sanyam Bhardwaj told the media, "We are trying to announce the result by July 20. But, it's too early to confirm, as the result declaration process can be delayed if the schools take time to send the internal assessment marks. The result will surely be announced this month."
