The Central Board of Secondary Education has devised a unique strategy to keep its students engaged during the 21-day lockdown period. The Board has released a set of questions in its Diksha App for students from Classes 7 to 10. The questions posted by the CBSE are creative and require critical thinking on the part of the students. With the country on lockdown in a move to contain the spread of Coronavirus, this step by the CBSE is an attempt to keep the students occupied.
To access the ‘thought provoking’ questions released by the Board, students are required to visit the CBSE Diksha App. The questions released so far are from the areas of Science, English, Mathematics and Hindi and are aimed at students from Classes 7 through 10. With the Board suspending the exams recently due to the lockdown and students away from schools, the questions will allow the students to remain productive and provide as a learning activity.
To search for the questions on the CBSE’s Dikhsha App, students are required to have the same downloaded on a mobile phone. Students will then be required to register themselves by providing the requisite details. Student can then search for ‘Creative and Critical Thinking Practice’ on the application itself and after entering their Board and Medium of Language, they can go ahead and solve the questions. The MHRD, recently, also had initiated the practice of providing of books online in a PDF format so that all the students can access the same from their home.
