The rechecking of ICSE and ISC marksheets has been activated from April 30, 2025, and will be available until May 4, 2025.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has made the 2025 marksheets for both ICSE Class 10th and ISC Class 12th available on DigiLocker.

The CISCE has discontinued compartment exams since 2024, i.e. last year. Instead of this, they have introduced the re-evaluation of answer scripts and improvement exams for students who wish to improve their marks in the same year of the examination. The CISCE improvement exams can be taken for a maximum of two subjects.

Students can check their ICSE Class 10 Result 2025 using the SMS facility provided by CISCE. To receive results via SMS, follow the format below:

SMS Format: Type ICSE and send it to 09248082883.

Once the SMS is sent, students will receive their ICSE 2025 Class 10 results directly on their mobile phones.

ICSE Marksheet 2025 and ISC Marksheet 2025 will be made available at 11 AM today. Students must keep their admit card to check the result using their login credentials. 

The school authorities will be able to access the detailed ICSE and ISC school-wise results through the CISCE Careers Portal. The result will include the statistical summaries, pass percentages, and subject-specific performance data. The original marksheets for students will be issued later on. 

CISCE will allow candidates to apply for rechecking and re-evaluation from April 30 to May 4, 2025. Students dissatisfied with their results can request this within the timeframe. No requests will be accepted after May 4, 2025. Details on the application procedure, fees, and guidelines will be available on the CISCE website. Rechecking involves verifying totaling, while re-evaluation includes a detailed review.

In 2024, girls recorded a pass percentage of 98.92% while that of boys, it stood at 97.53%. In 2023 as well, a similar trend was observed where 98.01%  girls passed and 95.96% boys passed.

School principals can view comprehensive results, including statistics and subject performance, on the CISCE Careers Portal. Schools will distribute printed marksheets to students following verification of digital copies.

The CISCE advises students to only use official websites and DigiLocker to check their results, warning against third-party apps and unofficial websites. They should also be cautious of social media rumors and unverified links to protect their data security. 

Those not satisfied with their performance can seek rechecking via the CISCE Service Portal, available through the 'Public Services' link at www.cisce.org. Login is done by a registered email ID and password; new users can register using the 'Register Now' facility. School Heads may seek rechecking on behalf of their wards via the CAREERS portal.

The recheck module shall be on the CISCE website from the date of declaration of results till May 4, 2025. Recheck requests made after this date shall not be accepted. The outcome of all recheck applications shall be declared together on the CISCE website.

Check the ICSE result 2025 on cisce.examresults.net by clicking the "ICSE Results 2025" link and entering your roll number, UID, and captcha. View and print your result. Alternatively, send your roll number via SMS to 09248082883 or use the ICSE & ISC Board Exam Result 2025 app. Download the digitally signed mark sheet and pass certificate from DigiLocker (digilocker.gov.in) after creating an account. The ICSE result 2025 will be available on the CISCE website following these steps.

The final score in any ICSE Board Exam 2025 subject will be a combination of external and internal assessments. As per the ICSE Class 10, 2025 exam structure, the grading for most subjects will allocate 80% to external marks and 20% to internal marks.

Upon the release of the ISC Result 2025, students can compute their Class 12th ISC percentage for 2025 by adhering to the subsequent procedure:

Note: English is a compulsory subject and its marks must be included in the percentage calculation.

Steps to Calculate ISC Percentage:

1. Total the marks obtained in English and the three subjects with the highest scores.

2. Divide this total by 4.

3. The resulting value is the average score.

4. Multiply the average score by 100 to obtain the percentage.

The ICSE grading system ranges from 1 to 9. A pass certificate is issued to candidates who appear for the ICSE exam in six subjects and achieve passing marks in a minimum of five subjects, with English being compulsory.

Within this 1 to 9 scale:

• Grades 1 and 2 signify a very good performance.

• Grades 3 to 5 indicate a pass with credit.

• Grades 6 and 7 denote a pass.

• Grades 8 and 9 represent a failure.

For Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service, the result sheets will display grades A, B, C, D, or E.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will declare the ICSE (Class 10th) and ISC (Class 12th) results for the year 2025 on April 30, at 11:00 AM. Students can access their results through the official CISCE website, the CAREERS portal, and the DigiLocker App.

Once the results are announced, go to either cisce.org or results.cisce.org.

1. Click on ‘ICSE 10th Result 2025’ or ‘ISC 12th Result 2025’, depending on your class.

2. Enter your Unique ID, Index Number, and the Captcha code.

3. Your scorecard will appear on the screen.

4. Download it and take a few printouts for future use.

With the ICSE 2025 Results set to be released today at 11:00 AM, students are advised to keep their login details ready. To check their scores on the official website, results.cisce.org, they will need to enter their Unique ID (UID) and Index Number as required by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

The Council of the CISCE will permit students to appear for an Improvement Examination in a total of two subjects in July 2025 if they wish to improve their grades in the same academic year. Further details for this examination will be made available on the CISCE website very soon. Since the results are approaching release, CISCE has been keen on making a transparent and readily available process for all stakeholders. Students are advised to have their login details ready in advance to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the results announcement.
