CLAT Exam 2025: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will soon release the revised CLAT 2025 Counselling Schedule due to legal challenges against the exam results. The Supreme Court had transferred the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 exam related petitions to Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court has called for a quick resolution, highlighting the anxiety among students, with the next hearing set for April 7, 2025. The updated counselling schedule will be available for registered candidates, and the official CLAT 2025 cut-off will be posted on the official website of Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The Court will decide whether the CLAT results are required to be revised or not. The order was issued by a bench led by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna. The Bench said, “We are also inclined to pass an omnibus order that in case a similar issue is raised before any other high court in the future, the consortium can file a copy of this order for the transfer of these cases to the Delhi high court.”

CLAT 2025 Exam Result Scrutiny Details

The CLAT exam was held on December 1, 2024.  On January 15, the Delhi High Court said that the use of English in the Common Law Admission Test should not stop students who are taught in regional languages from applying.

Petitions filed by aspirant for the following discrepancies found in the CLAT answer key as released by Consortium of NLUs:

  • Errors in several UG exam questions.
  • Discrepancies in the normalisation process
  • Incorrect question evaluation affecting overall scores

CLAT 2025 Exam Petition Filing: Background

Petitions against the CLAT 2025 results were filed in several High Courts, including Delhi, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Bombay, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab & Haryana. The Supreme Court had suggested moving the cases to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, where the first petition was filed, but they were eventually transferred to the Delhi High Court for a unified decision.
