EY STEM Tribe App Launched: Delhi Government in association with EY India has launched a unique EY STEM Tribe Mobile App for Girl students. With the launch of EY STEM Tribe app, Delhi Government has taken a bold step to promote gender equality in technology aided education in the state.
Why STEM Tribe App?
EY India’s STEM Tribe app is a unique mobile platform that has been developed keeping in mind Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) learning experience. The mobile app transforms educational content into entertainment and game-based applications. The app will help girls in 13-18 years age group engage in STEM curriculum and pursue high-growth careers. The mobile app is expected to be used by over 6000 girl students from Delhi – NCR. The app has been jointly developed by EY India in association with Tribal Planet.
Delhi Education Minister Launches App
The mobile app for formally launched by Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia. Addressing the gathering at the launch event, He said that it is important to break the traditional stereotypes around education streams such as science for boys and humanities for girls. He said that the EY STEM Tribe App for Girl students is a step in this direction.
Highlights Key Features of the App
At the launch event, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also highlighted the key features of EY STEM Tribe App in India. The mobile app is expected to have advanced learning modules related to Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics with key focus on emerging technologies such as Climate Change, Space Exploration, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Painting and Block Chain.

Launched first in India, EY India’s EY STEM Tribe Mobile Platform is a global initiative that is aimed at bridging the gender gap that exists in technology sector, at both education as well as employment levels. Through EY STEM Tribe App, girl students across the globe, including 6000 from 45 private and government schools based in Delhi-NCR in India, will be trained to acquire 21st Century Skills. These skills will not only oriented at getting jobs or employment but will also prepare students to pursue research and advanced studies in these fields later on.
