DU SOL Notification

Delhi University School of Open Learning has asked the students to be cautious against fraudulent calls demanding money to correct errors in the assignments submitted by the students during the evaluation.

According to an official statement from SOL, a student from English (Honours) has filed a complaint stating that she has received a call demanding Rs.100 for correcting errors in her assignments. Following suspicions, the caller stated that the candidates had written her father's name wrong on the assignment. However, the father's name need not be mentioned in the assignment which drew further suspicions.

Notification issued warning students

SOL has issued a notice cautioning the students in this regard. In the notification, DU SOL has added that it has been brought to the notice of the School of Open Learning that some fraudsters have been approaching students on behalf of the institute making claims and asking for personal details and money to correct errors relating to the Assignment Based Evaluation. All the concerned students have thus been advised not to respond to messages or calls claiming to be from the institute asking for money to correct errors related to the assignments submitted.

Delhi University had announced that the students from the first and second-year degree programme will be graded based on the internal assessment and their performance in the previous semesters as it is not possible to conduct the exams due to the pandemic. The university however is conducting the Open Book Examinations for the third-year undergraduate students and final year postgraduate students.
