
ICSE 10th Semester 1 Exam 2021-22: Finally, the D-day has come for Class 10 students of the CISCE – the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination as the Semester 1 Exams are slated to begin from today. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, ICSE Board Exam 2021-22 will begin from today i.e. 29th November 2021, in offline format for all the students of Class 10. For 2021 session, the exam is being held in two semester and the first term is being held from today until 16th December 2021.
MCQ Format, 1 Hour Duration
The First Semester Exam of ICSE Board is being held as objective test which will consist of MCQ or Multiple Choice Question format. Moreover, keeping in mind the unique examination format, the Board has also curtailed the exam duration or timing to 1 hour only. All paper for ICSE Semester 1 Exam 2021 will be held in the morning session starting from 11 AM to 12 PM. The first exam for Class 10 students of ICSE is for English Paper 1.
ICSE 10th Semester 1 Exam - Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions
As the ICSE Class 10 Exam 2021 for Semester 1 students is being held amid the threat of the pandemic; the Board has issued special instructions to the students and exam staff to ensure safe and smooth conduct of the test. Students should keep the following exam-day guidelines and instructions in mind before going for the ICSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 today:
- Admit Cards: Like all other exams, admit cards or hall tickets are mandatory for all the students who would be appearing for it. Therefore, students must collect their admit cards from the heads or principals of their respective schools without fail, before appearing for the exam.
- Reporting Time: All students are advised to report to the exam centre at-least 30 minutes before the start of the examination. This will allow them enough time to locate their exam hall and seat and also avoid last minute stress and pressure.
- 10 Minutes to Read Paper: Students will be provided an additional time of 10 minutes to read the question paper and understand the exam-specific instructions provided on it.
- No Sharing of Stationary: Considering the threat of the pandemic and to minimize contact among each other, students have been asked not to share any stationary items with their classmates or peers.
- Unique ID and Index Number: During the exam, students would be required to mention or write their unique ID (unique identification number) and index number on the question paper cum answer booklet.
- Black / Blue ballpoint pen: All entries in the answer sheets, including personal details and marking of the answers is to be done only with blue or black ball-point pen.
- Rough Work Sheet: Students should note that no scribbling or rough work can be done on the answer booklet and only answers are to be marked on it. Rough work, if required, should be done only on the space allocated.
- COVID-19 Precations: Students are required to wear masks, sanitize their hands and follow social distancing inside and outside the campuses.
