IGNOU SOFL Certificate Course: IGNOU, the People’s University, has launched a certificate course in Persian language (CPEL). The course has been made available in ODL (Open and Distance Learning) mode. Many candidates apply every year in IGNOU to pursue different courses and now the university has launched a new programme. The candidates who are interested for the programme need to visit the official website of the university. It is important to note for the candidates that the certificate programme aims at developing the skills in those learners who are interested in Persian language and culture. The certificate programme will be run by the School of Foreign Languages (SOFL).
The candidates should know that the objective of this certificate programme in Persian language is to enable the learners have a command over various skills and aspect of the language. Once, the candidates learn the skills of the language, they will have a command over it and then they will be able to communicate effectively.
To enroll in this programme, the candidates must have attained the 18 years of age or they should have passed 10+2 exam. The candidates will be instructed in English and Persian language. The candidates will have to complete the programme in 6 months. However, the maximum duration of the programme is 2 years.
It is important to note that the candidates can take admission either in January session or in July session. As of now, the fees for the programme is Rs. 1800. At present, this certificate programme will be offered at the regional centres in Delhi, Kolkata, Patna, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Srinagar and Noida.
