JEE Main, NEET 2021 Update: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ is expected to announce final decision about the upcoming competitive entrance exam i.e. JEE Main 2021 engineering entrance exam and NEET 2021 medical entrance exam today. Today, Mr Pokhriyal is expected to discuss holding of JEE Main and NEET 2021 Exam with State Education Ministers and State Education Secretaries in a high-level meeting scheduled at 11:30 AM. The entrance exams like JEE Mains 2021, NEET and more were postponed due to the increase in COVID19 cases.
JEE Main 2021 Dates for April / May Session Expected
Earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) managed to successfully conduct the JEE Main 2021 Exam for February and March Sessions 2021 successfully. But, after the country was hit with the devastating 2nd Wave of COVID-19, the April and May sessions of JEE Main 2021 Exam were postponed keeping in mind the safety, health and well-being of the students. At the time of postponement, NTA had notified that it would provide 15-day prior notice to the candidates for holding the April and May sessions of the exam. NEET 2021 Exam Details Expected
While JEE Main 2021 is being held in 4 different sessions of which two sessions have already been held, Medical Entrance Exam of NEET 2021 is being held in a single session. As per the dates announced by NTA, NEET 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on 1st August 2021 in Offline format. NTA will release the NEET application form 2021 release date soon at the official website and commence the registration process for the same. However, looking at the current situation, there might be some changes announced in NEET 2021 exam dates as well, which may be discussed in today’s high-level meeting.
