JNVST Class 6 Exam 2021 Postponed: As per the latest update, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has decided to postpone the Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Entrance Test 2021 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic situation across the country. As of now, the Samiti has postponed JNVST 6th Class Exam 2021 which was scheduled to be held on 16th May 2021. However, the NVS Class 6 Entrance Exam 2021 for North Eastern States of Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya, which was scheduled to be held at a later, will be held as per the timeline declared earlier. The test is held for admission to the centrally-run Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs).

Official Circular Released to Confirm News

To confirm the news about the postponement of the upcoming JNVST Class 6 Entrance Exam 2021 being postponed, the Samiti has released an official circular. The circular reads, “Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2021 for admission of students in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas to Class 6 for the session 2021-22 which is scheduled on “16.05.2021” in all the states and UTs other than Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya is postponed due to administrative reasons. New Exam Dates with 15-day Prior Notice

With the Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Entrance Test 2021 being postponed due to the COVID-19 situation, the exam authority has also assured students and parents that new dates for the same would be announced after reviewing the situation. To give ample time for parents and students to get ready for the upcoming exams, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will give a prior notice of 15-days. This means that the new exam date for JNV Class 6 Exam 2021 will be announced atleast a fortnight before the commencement of the test.

This is the second time that the JNVST Class 6 examination has been postponed. Earlier, the selection test was scheduled for 10^th April and then was postponed to 16th May 2021.
