Schools Closed for Kanwar Yatra: Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has announced school holidays for classes 1 to 12 from tomorrow, July 31 to August 2, 2024. The holiday has been announced due to the Kanwar Yatra.
The announcement was made after the holiday was announced by the Ghaziabad district administration. The school holiday has been announced due to the increase in number of people coming in from Haridwar.
Schools have been directed to follow the order issued. Classes will however be conducted as usual online and schools will be closed on August 2, 2024.
Schools Closed in Ghaziabad and Haridwar
Schools in Ghaziabad and Haridwar will remain closed until August 2, 2024, due to the Kanwar Yatra. Lakhs of devotees from across the state are expected to come to Dudeshwar Nath temple in Ghaziabad.
The school holidays were announced in Haridwar due to the rush of devotees in the ongoing Kanwar Yatra. According to the order issued, all government, and non-government schools and Anganwadi centres from classes 1 to 12 will be closed until August 2, 2024.
