On Sunday, India observed ‘Janata Curfew’ as requested by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. People across the country stayed indoors as asked by the PM as a move to contain the recent outbreak of Coronavirus in the country. Amidst the curfew, Super 30 founder Anand Kumar came up with an innovative solution to keep students engaged. Kumar provided the students with a Mathematics problem and challenged them to solve it.
The Mathematics question was uploaded by Kumar on his official Twitter and Facebook handles and was aimed at students across Class 6 to 12. Kumar said that he received hundreds of replies. Students solved the Mathematics question by Kumar using different approaches. Kumar said that after going through all the answers he will provide the students with different tips to solve a more complicated problem in an easier manner.
Students eveen insisted that Kumar provide them with more such intriguing problems. Comments such as ‘mathemagic’ and ‘absolute fun’ were posted on his official social media handles. Anand Kumar also said that he wished to to stay connected with students across the country so that they can utilise the time of staying inside their houses more productively. He also added with schools and colleges across the country being shut he will upload some more videos on Mathematics on social media in the days to come.
