Maharashtra RTE Admissions 2025-26, The Maharashtra Education Department has issued detailed guidelines for parents applying under the 25% reservation quota of the Right to Education (RTE) Act for the academic year 2025-26.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Children from families with an annual income of less than ₹1 lakh are eligible under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
Application Process:
- Parents must carefully select up to 10 schools during the application process.
- Distance from home to the selected schools must be calculated using Google Maps, as per the notification guidelines.
- Only one complete application per child should be submitted to avoid disqualification.
Important Deadlines and Tips:
- Applications must be submitted within the specified deadline to ensure eligibility.
- Early submission is strongly advised to avoid technical issues such as internet disruptions during the last days of submission.
Documentation:
- Ensure that details like home address, date of birth, income certificate, disability certificate (if applicable), and caste certificate are accurate and complete.
- Parents are instructed not to upload documents online during the submission process.
Additional Guidelines:
- Children already admitted under the 25% RTE quota in previous years are not eligible to reapply. Submitting incorrect information leading to re-admission will result in the cancellation of the admission.
