NEET Result 2021: 3 Toppers Score 720, 16 Candidates Score 715 Marks, Know Key Highlights Here

NEET 2021 Toppers Update: Following the declaration of NEET 2021 Results, the exam authority has also released some key statistical highlights and toppers list for the medical entrance exam. The NEET result 2021 was declared officially at 8 PM in the evening by the National Testing Agency on its official website i.e. neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who had appeared for the exam, were also mailed their individual NEET scorecards directly on their registered email id prior to this. Going by the most important details, of the nearly 16 lakh candidates appeared for the Undergraduate level Medical Exam, a total of 870074 have qualified. Moreover, three candidates who have scored 720 marks are sharing the top rank for the examination. NEET 2021 Result - Key Statistical Highlights

Along with the declaration of NEET 2021 Results, the exam authority has also notified some important statistical highlights for the examination. As per the details shared by the NTA, a total of 16 lakh candidates had registered for the UG Medical Entrance Exam of which 1544275 appeared for the test which was held on 12^th September 2021. In terms of qualification numbers, a total of 870074 candidates have been declared as qualified or passed in the examination. NEET Result - Category-wise Qualified Candidates

Another important aspect on which NEET 2021 Result should be assessed is the category-wise qualification of candidates. This will help us decode the competition and assess what are the chances of the candidates get a seat allotted during the counselling process under their respective categories. NEET Toppers List 2021

Along with the highlights of the NEET Exam 2021, the exam authority has also notified the toppers list for the medical entrance examination. In terms of toppers, Mrinal Kutteri, Tanmay Gupta and Karthika G Nair, all of whom have scored 720 marks but they were allotted Ranks 1, 2 and 3 respective on the basis of tie-breaking policy. Karthika Nair is also the topper in the female category. In terms of category-wise break-up, the Top 20 list consists of 3 candidates from OBC-NCL and 1 candidate from EWS candidates; rest all candidates are from General Category.

On the other hand, 16 candidates have scored 715 marks to tie at Rank 5, 17 and 19. In terms of state-wise representation in the Top 20 List of NEET Toppers 2021, the maximum number of students are from Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra i.e. 3 candidates each; while Telangana, Delhi, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh have 2 candidates each. The rest of the toppers are 1 each from Gujarat, Haryana, West Bengal, Kerala, Punjab and Bihar.
