NIFT Counselling 2021 Registration Portal to be Closed Today, Register soon at nift.ac.in

NIFT Admission 2021: As per the updates, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will close the registration window for online counselling today, 5th July at 11.59 pm. Candidates who have not yet registered for NIFT counselling 2021 can do it at nift.ac.in. They can register for the counselling of the following courses - BDes, BFTech, MDes, MFM and MFTech. To register for NIFT counselling candidates will have to provide the required information and documents. Also, the dates for NIFT counselling will be released soon.

The National Institute of Technology will conduct NIFT counselling online through Zoom Meeting calls. Registered candidates will receive the Zoom Meeting link on their registered email ID. They will also get the schedule of counselling and further instructions. NIFT counselling will be conducted to fill a total of 4,517 seats of design programmes.

How to register for NIFT 2021 Counselling?

Every year, a centralised counselling process is conducted for NIFT admissions. However, last year, the entire NIFT counselling process was conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year too, the institute is expected to conduct the online NIFT Entrance Exam counselling due to the second wave of COVID. Candidates will have to register online to appear for the counselling round by following these steps -

• Step 1 - Go to the official website of NIFT - nift.ac.in.
• Step 2 - On the homepage, click on the ‘Register for counselling’ link.
• Step 3 - Enter the login details - application number and date of birth
• Step 4 - Click on the ‘Submit’ button and click on ‘Proceed’.
• Step 5 - Upload the documents and pay the registration fees.

After registration, the officials of the institute will display the seating chart to candidates according to their preference using the screen sharing feature of Zoom Meeting. The seats allotted will be forwarded to the NIFT official for final approval. On final approval from the HO, candidates will have an option to download the allotment letter from the registration portal. National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts multiple counselling rounds for admission to the 17 NIFT campuses. The official NIFT website informs: "The NIFT Head Office will coordinate with all Campuses and the Admission process will take place simultaneously at all Campuses of NIFT".
