Professor Yogesh Singh, who was the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi Technological University has now been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi. Professor Singh has also served as the director of Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology from the year 2014 to 2017 along with other universities.
An M.Tech Graduate who also holds a doctorate from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Professor Singh has also served as the Vice-Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education Central Regional Committee in Bhopal in 2011.
When speaking to the media, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor stated that it is a matter of pride to be appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of such a great institution. He further added that necessary steps required for the growth and development of the university will be taken.
Along with the DU vice Chancellor, the Ministry of Education has also appointed Professor Neelima Gupta as the Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. President Ram Nath Kovind who is a visitor to both the central universities and has approved the appointment of the two Vice-Chancellors.
Delhi University First Cutoff 2021
According to DU Admission officials, the first cutoff for the admissions to the 2021 session undergraduate programmes will be released by October 1, 2021, while the special cut off after the third list has been issued.
