All schools and colleges in Maharashtra will remain shut on September 18, 2024, for Eid-e-Milad celebrations. The state government shifted the holiday from September 16 to 18 because it coincides with Ganesh immersion ceremonies.
Odisha Schools Closed Due to PM Modi’s Visit
Educational Institutions in Odisha will remain closed tomorrow: September 17, 2024, due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. The Odisha government has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges within the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area. As per the Chief Minister’s Office in Odisha, "All schools and colleges in the Bhubaneswar metropolitan area will be closed on September 17.''
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Subhadra Yojana in Bhubaneswar on that day. "A large public meeting will be held in Bhubaneswar. In view of this, the state government has decided that all schools and colleges in Bhubaneswar will remain closed, while government offices will be closed for the first half of the day,’’ it added.
School Holiday News: UP Schools Closed Due to Anant Chaturdashi
Schools in Uttar Pradesh are likely to remain closed on September 17, 2024, in view of Anant Chaturdashi/Vishwakarma Puja.
