Union Education Minister to interact with CBSE School Heads on implementation of NEP 2020

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will be interacting with the heads of the different CBSE Schools tomorrow. The discussions will be conducted for proper implementation of the National Education Policy 2020.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will be interacting with the heads of the different CBSE Schools tomorrow - January 28, 2021, on implementing the National Education Policy. The minister during the meeting will be discussing the role of the school heads in implementing the National; Education Policy 2020. The minister will be discussing the role of the school heads in implementing the NEP 2020 which will be conducted live on YouTube from 2 PM. 

According to a tweet by the CBSE the education minister will be interacting with more than 1000 CBSE school heads and the discussion will be conducted on the role of school heads in implementing the National Education Policy at the grad-root level.

According to the details provided, the government wants to make sure that the  National Education Policy is implemented. It has also been mentioned that the effectiveness of the implementation of the National Education Policy depends on multiple initiatives and actions and the government is making sure that the different bodies are synchronized to implement the NEP 2020 systematically.

Bodies responsible for NEP Implementation

The different bodies responsible to implement the NEP are MHRD, CABE, Union and State Governments, Education-related ministries, State Departments of Education, Boards, NTA, the school and higher education regulatory bodies, NCERT, SCERT, Schools and Higher Educational Institutions.

The Union Education Minister will also be discussing the timelines and plans for the review with the CBSE School heads which will ensure that the National Education Policy implementation is done in the spirit and intent through planning and collaboration across all the bodies involved in education.
