UP Board Exams 2025: Exams to Begin in March? Check Details Here

As per recent reports, UP board officials are likely to begin the UP Board Exam 2025 in March after the Maha Kumbh festivities. Board officials will provide candidates with a confirmed schedule and timeline of the UPMSP 10th and 12th exams soon.

UP Board Exam 2025: According to media reports, the UP Board Exam 2025 will not begin in February 2025 as speculated. As per reports, the Maha Kumbh is set to take place in Prayagraj which is likely to impact the schedule of the upcoming board exams. 

It is suggested that the UP board has decided to conduct the UPMSP 10th and 12th exams 2025 after the religious event considering the CM’s special focus on the successful organisation of the Maha Kumbh.

It is stated that the officials of the government and the board are working to ensure that the board exams do not disrupt the preparations of the festivals and vice versa. As a result, the board is planning to conduct the annual exams in March following Maha Shivratri on February 26 which is also the final bathing festival of Kumbh which begins on Makar Sankranti on January 14, 2025. 

Considering the vast crowd expected to gather for the festival, the state administration and the board officials are preparing to conduct the exams after the festival. As per reports, a proposal to begin the exams in February 2025 did not receive a favourable response from officials.

Measures Taken to Conduct UP Board Exam 2025

Previously, the board conducted the exams from February 22, 2024. It is estimated that over 54.38 lakh students are expected to appear for the UPMSP 10th and 12th exams in 2025. To conduct the exam smoothly, the board will be implementing advanced security measures including AI to monitor the examination process.

The question papers will be securely stored in a strong room at each exam centre which will be locked until the exam day. AI-based cameras will also be installed to monitor the strong room and ensure it remains closed until the exams begin.
