Government of Odisha though the Employment and Technical Education & Training (ETET) Department is going to conduct the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2015 (OJEE – 2015) for aspiring candidate who wish to take admission into the B.Tech. / MBBS / BDS / MBA / MCA /MCA Dual Degree/ MAM /Architecture /Pharmacy/ PGAT/ PGDM/ PGCM/ PGDM [Executive] / M.Tech / M.Pharm / M. Arch in colleges under the State government.

In order to shortlist the creamy layer for admitting them to topmost colleges of Odisha, OJEE is kept as a benchmark.

Candidates have already registered themselves for appearing in this competitive examination as the forms were available online from 15 January to 05 March 2015 through http://ojee.nic.in/.

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from 20 April 2015 for the exam which is scheduled to be conducted on 10 May 2015. The result for the same is tentatively declared to be announced in the first week of June this year.

Those candidates who will qualify this examination will be called for the counseling and further procedures of admissions.     

 

The OJEE 2014 registration forms were available from January 31 2014 on the official website and the forms for the same will last till 5th march 2014. There are post graduate programs that are offered by the universities and for this students need to appear for Odisha Joint entrance examination. One of the significant aspects is that of application forms. Application forms can be filled online and in this procedure candidates are not supposed to send any information to the OJEE office. Another significant aspect is that of eligibility criteria. Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50 % of marks. There is a different criterion for the reserved classes as they require a minimum percentage of 45 %.

The application fees for the forms are Rs 1000 and there is certain procedure to fill these forms. For instance candidates are bound to choose the discipline and enter their corresponding code in the OJEE 2014 online application form. Students are also supposed to upload their photographs as well as signatures after scanning them. Also they are supposed to print the confirmation page for future reference. Once the procedure is completed candidates will be provided a 7 digit number and this 7 digit number is generated after submitting the online application of OJEE. The result declaration for the same will be in the first week of June 2014. The candidates are supposed to provide all the authentic details in the application form.

These examinations offer courses mainly at the post graduate level. These examinations are not a cake walk. Students need to work extremely hard when it comes to clearing such entrance examinations. Persistence and focus are the two main keys of success. There are four main sections of the examination i.e. Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. There are 60 questions for each section except Mathematics and Botany which includes 30 questions. The set of questions and syllabus is prescribed on the official website. Not only has the official website, the brochure also consisted of all sort of information which is extremely useful to the students.

From the year 2014 the application procedure has been purely converted into an online process. However the candidates are also advised to retain hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page along with the proof of money transfer for future reference or correspondence.
