The AP SSC Maths question paper had a total of 33 questions and the overall weightage of the question paper was 100 marks. The exam duration was of 3 hours 15 minutes where 15 minutes were allotted to read the question paper.

The question paper was divided into three sections:

• Section I - It had TWELVE questions of Very Short Answer Type. Each question carried 1 mark.
• Section II - It had EIGHT questions of Short Answer Type - I. Each question carried 2 marks.
• Section III - It had EIGHT questions of Short Answer Type - II. Each question carried 4 marks.
• Section IV - It had FIVE questions of Long Answer Type. Each question carried 8 marks.
