BARC Mumbai Notified Recruitment for 18 Trade Apprentices 2014

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Trade Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 31 August 2014. The BARC is India's premier nuclear research facility based in Trombay, Mumbai. BARC is a multi-disciplinary research centre with extensive infrastructure for advanced research and development covering the entire spectrum of nuclear science, engineering and related areas.

Pay Scale

• Dip. in Mechanical Engg.:  Rs.2530/- per month
• Dip. in Automobile Engg. : Rs.2530/- per month
• Med. Lab Technician: Rs.1970/- per month
• X-ray Technician: Rs.1970/- per month
• Opthalmic Technician: Rs.1970/- per month

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Dip. in Mechanical Engg.:  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering disciplines with minimum 50% marks from Board of Technical Education of a State.
• Dip. in Automobile Engg. : Diploma in Automobile Engineering disciplines with minimum 50% marks from Board of Technical Education of a State.
• Med. Lab Technician: Respective vocational course certificates in 12^th (vocational) schooling.
• X-ray Technician: Respective vocational course certificates in 12^th (vocational) schooling.
• Opthalmic Technician: Respective vocational course certificates in 12^th (vocational) schooling.

Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not less than 18 years.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of percentage of marks in SSC, plus vocational course certificate and Diploma as assessed suitable and candidates who have recently completed the course.

• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with a recent passport size photograph, attested copies of all certificates & testimonials and a self addressed unstamped envelope (Size: 200 mm x 110 mm) should be sent to the DEPUTY ESTABLISHMENT OFFICER (R-V), BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE, TROMBAY, MUMBAI – 400 085 on or before 31 August 2014.
• Candidates should mention "APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN BARC" on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
