90-Day Study Plan for CBSE Class 10 Science Board Exam 2025:  Preparing for the CBSE Class 10 Science Board exam needs a very strategic approach that can be undertaken 90 days before the examination period. This study plan is meant to enable students to properly utilise the time left, cover the entire syllabus within the set time, and understand some of the most important concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Days 1-7: Focus on Physics

  • Topics: Light, Electricity, Motion
  • Activities: Read NCERT textbooks thoroughly and solve the questions at the end of the chapter. 

Days 8-14: Focus on Chemistry

  • Topics: Chemical Reactions, Acids and Bases
  • Activities: Practice NCERT exercise questions and flashcards for important concepts. Practise important concepts by writing them in your notebook. 

Days 15-21: Focus on Biology

  • Topics: Life Processes, Control and Coordination
  • Activities: Practise diagrams and also learn to label them properly. Summarise key processes in a notebook. 

Days 22-42: Repeat the cycle for deeper understanding and retention.

  • Revise all the concepts covered from Day 1 until now. 

Weeks 7-9: Revision and Practice

Days 43-56:

  • Review all subjects.
  • Create a list of important formulas and concepts.
  • Engage in group studies to discuss difficult topics and look for their different solutions. 

Weeks 9: Practice with Sample Papers

Days 57-63:

  • Solve previous years’ question papers and sample papers to brush up on your concepts. 

Final Weeks: Final Revision and Mock Tests

Weeks 10-12: Final Touches and Mock Exams

Days 64-75:

  • Look for mock exams every weekend to prepare effectively for the exam. 

Days 76-84:

Focus on weak areas identified during mock tests.

Days 85-90:

  • Light revision of all subjects.
  • Ensure all materials are organised for easy access during last-minute revision.

Daily Study Routine

To maximize productivity:

  • Study Duration: Aim for around 4-6 hours daily, divided into sessions of no more than 50 minutes, followed by a 10-minute break.
  • Healthy Habits: Stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet.
  • Get Enough Sleep: Ensure adequate sleep (7-8 hours) to enhance memory retention.

On the day of the exam:

  • Read through the entire question paper before starting.
  • Attempt easier questions first to build confidence.
  • Keep track of time to ensure all questions are answered within the allotted duration. This helps with the time management.
