Lastly, Subbu is described as a passionate person who is most likely a Gandhiite, whereas the lawyer is described as a neutral person.
Yes, I think the qualities of both the characters are important as Subbu's creativity takes care of the artistic requirements, whereas the lawyer's qualities of dealing with facts in an objective manner are important to keep the movie running smoothly without any legal objections.
