13th CTET Exam on 8 December 2019: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announces the official exam schedule of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2019 exam @ CTET December 2019 notification will be released tomorrow on 19 August 2019 containing CTET application process, examination fee, languages, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, examination cities and important dates. CBSE CTET 2019 exam will be held on 8th December (Sunday).

The CTET 2019 application process will also begin from 19 August 2019 (Monday). This 13th edition of the CTET exam will be conducted in the 20 languages across 110 cities in India. Candidates who could not qualify the July 2019 CTET exam or who intend to appear for CTET exam, can apply online on the official website The online application process will begin from 19 August and will end on 18 September 2019. Candidates will be allowed to pay the CTET exam fee till 23 September 2019.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level entrance exam that is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with an aim to appoint teachers for Primary level and Upper Primary level. The CBSE has been entrusted by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development to conduct the CTET exam every year twice.

For candidates who aim to secure a job in teaching profession, it is mandatory to fetch a TET Certificate and CTET Certificate makes them eligible to apply for recruitment in central schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, and others.  Candidates who have qualified the CTET July exam can apply for the recruitment in the Navodaya Vidyalaya.
