Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will be conducting Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination on 23 December 2012 at 26 centres across the nation. The paper will be conducted in two sessions- morning and afternoon- on 23 December 2012. Candidates who did not receive admission certificate by 17 December 2012 can download the duplicate admit card from the CSIR’s website.

With effect to the revised schedule dated 13 December 2012, Joint CSIR-UGC NET for Earth Sciences will be conducted in Morning session from 9 am to 12 pm and for Mathematical Sciences will be held in the Afternoon session from 2 pm to 5 pm on the day of examination. The mode of examination will be objective type with Multiple Choice Questions for all the six subjects namely Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering Sciences.

Admit Cards will have candidates name, Roll Number, Test Date, Test Time, and Test venue address. Candidates should note that they will not be admitted to the Test unless they hold the admission Certificate to the Test.
CSIR conducts Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination 2012 twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and to determine the eligibility for the recruitment of lecturers in 6 subjects under the faculty of Science & Technology. Registration status of the candidates who have applied for the examination are available at the official website of CSIR.
