MAT exam takers can now download their May MAT Admit Card on 29 April 2017 for appearing in the exam. This year MAT exam is scheduled to take place on May 7, 2017 (Paper based exam) and May 13, 2017 (Computer-based Exam). Test Venues for both Paper-Based Test and Computer Based Test are different.
MAT Admit Card Details
In the admit card, details pertaining to candidate's came, form no, roll no, test date, test time and test venue address will be specified. Candidates are advised to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the May MAT admit card.

As per the recent mandate, admit cards of the candidates who have registered after 28.04.2017 for appearing in May 2017 MAT in paper based test (PBT mode), will be available for downloading from 03 may 2017 (4.30 pm) onwards.
Exam Pattern for MAT May 2017
MAT is a national level management entrance exam that is held 4 times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December. The exam is usually of 150 minutes (2.30 hours) duration and it comprises of 200 MCQ type questions. MAT exam is conducted in both ‘ONLINE’ and ‘OFFLINE’ mode. It is the choice of the exam-taker to choose the mode in which they wish to appear.
Each MCQ carry 1 mark for correct response and 0.25 marks shall be deducted (negative marking) for attempting the incorrect choice. The question paper is divided into 5 sections as mentioned below:
- Data Analysis and Sufficiency – 40 Questions
- Intelligence and Critical Reasoning – 40 Questions
- Language Comprehension – 40 Questions
- Mathematical Skills – 40 Questions
- Indian and Global Environment – 40 Questions
There shall be a provision of negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer.
