Federal Bank Limited is a major Indian commercial bank in the private sector, headquartered at Aluva, Kochi, Kerala. The bank is planning to expand its branch network to 1000 and hire 2000 professionals by June 2012.

The bank invites application for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officer (PO) from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee conducted by IBPS in 2011.

Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in Federal Bank

Educational Qualification (as on 1 August 2011): Graduate degree from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.

Essential Requirement: Candidates should be qualified in the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the post of PO and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS. 

Age Limit (as on 1 December 2011): Maximum 26 years

Pay Scale: Rs 14500 - 600/7 - 18700 - 700/2 - 20100 - 800/7 - 25700

Selection Procedure for recruitment in Federal Bank: Selection for the post of Probationary Officer will be based on the Total Weighted Standard Score in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in 2011 and marks scored in the Interview.

Depending on the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in Common Written Examination for Interview.

Interview Centres: The interviews will be conducted at 3 centres viz. Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode for the post of Probationary Officer.

Application Fee: Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex- Servicemen category candidates is Rs 20 and fee for other category students is Rs 200.

Apply online by re-visiting the Recruitment link appropriate places. Fill in all other required details with (a) NEFT Reference Number, (b) Date of remittance and (c) Amount remitted therein and click on the "SUBMIT" button at the end of the Online Application form. Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with call letter at the time of interview or otherwise they will be disqualified.

Original fee payment receipt i.e CBS challan/ NEFT Receipt/ e-receipt will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of Interview.
