Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Manager and Deputy General Manager Job
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Manager (Mines): Full time B.E. / B.Tech (Mining) with minimum 60% from recognized University of UGC/AICTE with Second Class Mining Managers Certificate of competency (Coal) from DGMS with at least 05 years post qualification experience of working in open cast coal mines, with knowledge of coal mines planning, development and operation and maintenance of mechanized open cast coal mines along with up to date knowledge of mining rules and regulations.
- Deputy General Manager (Mines): Full time B.E. / B.Tech (Mining) from recognized University by UGC/AICTE with 60% and First Class Mines Managers Certificate of Competency (Coal) from DGMS. Candidate should possess 15 years post qualification experience of managing/operating coal mines, of which Minimum 10 years’ experience as First Class Mines Manager in open cast coal mine having minimum capacity of 3.5 MTPA with Experience in coal mine planning, development and operation and maintenance of mechanized open cast coal mine, having upto date knowledge of rules and regulations and experience in dealing with regulatory authorities for various clearances and activities required for development as per MOC.

- Assistant Manager (Mines): 35 years of age
- Deputy General Manager (Mines): 40-50 years of age
