Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) Mumbai is a Deemed University and has ten institutions of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) at its constituent institutions. The institute invited application from candidates having post graduate degree in Engineering for the award of fellowships under the DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for PhD (DGFS- PhD) for pursuing research in an Engineering discipline leading to the award of PhD degree of HBNI.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have either of the following degrees ME / MTech or equivalent in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Metallurgical/ Nuclear/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation or Computer engineering disciplines. Besides the candidates should have scored at least 60% Marks in BE /B Tech.
Age Limit: Candidate should have been born on or after 1 August 1985
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination that will be conducted by the Institute on the prescribed date at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai followed by interview of selected number of candidates. Interested and eligible candidates are required to be prepared with a 10 minute presentation on their research interest.
