Day 2: Chemical Bonding

  • Types of bonds (ionic, covalent, and metallic).
  • Characteristics and examples of each bond type can be asked in the exam.
  • Practice drawing electron-dot structures.

Day 3: Acids, Bases, and Salts

  • Properties and reactions of acids and bases.
  • Concept of pH and indicators.
  • Preparation and uses of salts.

Day 4: Mole Concept and Stoichiometry

  • Understand mole calculations (molar mass, Avogadro's number).
  • Solve numerical problems on empirical formulas and equations.

Day 5: Analytical Chemistry

  • Study qualitative analysis (tests for cations and anions).
  • Memorise important tests for gases.

Day 6: Revision

  • Contact process and its importance.

Day 16: Carbon and its Compounds

  • Allotropes of carbon (diamond, graphite).
  • Organic chemistry basics: Functional groups and nomenclature.

Day 17: Organic Chemistry

  • Study hydrocarbons (alkanes, alkenes, alkynes).
  • Isomerism and its types.

Day 18: Industrial Chemistry

  • Study industrial processes (Haber’s process, Ostwald’s process).
  • Environmental impact of industrial chemistry.

Day 19: Numerical Practice

  • Solve numerical problems from all chapters.
  • Focus on the mole concept, stoichiometry, and gas laws.

Day 20: Revision

  • Revise all topics covered until now.
  • Solve mock test papers and previous year’s papers.

Day 21: Weekly Assessment
