- For MBBS Degree Holders: MD in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- For Non-MBBS Degree Holders: Ph.D in concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grant Commission.
Bio-Chemistry
- For MBBS Degree Holders: MD/MS MBBS with Ph.D, MS (Medical Bio-Chemistry) MS (Medical Bio-Chemistry with Ph.D) MS MBC with DSC in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).
- For Non-MBBS Degree Holders: Ph.D in concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grant Commission
Microbiology
- For MBBS Degree Holders: MD/MS in Bacteriology/Microbiology, MBBS with M.Sc/Bacteriology/Microbiology in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical council of India (MCI)
- For Non-MBBS Degree Holders: Ph.D in concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grant Commission
Pharmacology
- For MBBS Degree Holders: MD Pharmacology/Ph.D in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical council of India (MCI)
- For Non-MBBS Degree Holders: M.Sc (Medical Pgharmacology with Ph.D Medical Pharmacology or M.Sc Medical Pharmacology with DSC Medical Pharmacology in concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grant Commission
- Community Medicine Item, Medical Officer of Health cum Lecturer/Assistant Professor: MD in (Social & Preventive Medicine/Community Medicine) duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- General Medicine: MD Medicine in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease: MD/MS in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Dermatology Venerology and Leprosy: MD(Derm and Ven)/MD (Derm.Ven & Leprosary)/MD Medicine with DBD or DD duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Psychiatry: MD/DNB in concerned (Psychiatry) discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Paediatrics: MD Paediatrics in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Antenatal Medical Officer cum Lecturer/ Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from university/ institution duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Medical Record Officer: B.Sc/M.Sc or equivalent having one year course for Medical Record officer/keeper from a recognized institute with two year experience in Organizing and maintenance Medical Records in a Hospital or in a Medical Institution of Standing
