The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar has released the admission notification, announcing the eligibility for the candidates to apply for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for the academic session 2016. The duration of the course will be two years. All the interested candidates are requested to apply before April 30, 2016.
Eligibility criteria
Education Qualification: The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to MBA is Bachelor degree in any branch of engineering/science/humanities etc. with 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA and valid CAT/MAT/CMAT scores. Those appearing in their final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: A relaxation of 5 percent or 0.5 in CGPA/CPI on a 10 point scale may be extended to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.
Selection Process
The candidates must possess a valid CAT/MAT/CMAT score with the minimum cut-off of 40 percentile. Final selection will be made on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview which will be conducted at the NIT Silchar campus.
