National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning (NBSS&LUP), Bangalore invited applications for recruitment of 33 various vacancies. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through mail on or before 15 May 2014. The NBSS&LUP is one among the chain of ICAR Institutes. Government of India established All India Soil Survey Organisation in 1956 with the Headquarters at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute Nagpur with five Regional Soil Correlation Centres at Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Jorhat and Udaipur. In 1976 it became an independent Institute of ICAR named as National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning.

Educational Qualification:
- Project Assistant: BSc or Agricultural Diploma.
- Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate (SRF/RA): MSc in any branch of science.
- Project Assistant: BSc or Agricultural Diploma.
- Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate (SRF/RA): MSc in Agricultural Economics/Extension.
- Project Assistant/Soil Analyst: Graduate in any branch of science.
- Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate (SRF/RA): MSc in Soil Science/Agronomy or any other related fields.
- Project Assistant: BSc/B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering.
- Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate (SRF/RA): MSc/B.E./B. Tech
- Project Assistant: Graduation Degree
- Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate (SRF/RA): MSc/B.E/B.Tech
Age Limit:
- Age limit for all the posts is not more than 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women as on the date of interview.
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
