Eligibility Criteria for Consultants and Other Job

Educational Qualification:

  • Consultant-Community Processes (HQ-RRC-NE)

i. Possess a Post Graduate degree in Social Work/ Social Science/ Rural Development
ii. Have at least 3 (Three) years post qualification experience, preferably in the implementation of a health programmes at the NGO / Community / PRIs level, and familiarity with the direct implementation of community processes through field based NGOs, CBOs, etc. will be an added advantage.
iii. Experience in training and implementing large scale Community Health Worker programmes will be an added advantage
iv. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Hindi also desirable.
v. Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point; any one computerized accounting package is highly desirable.
vi. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
vii. Experience of working with senior government officials at central and or state level.
viii. Good capacity building skills in health sector
ix. Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
x. Formal educational qualification and experience could be relaxed when there is published work of high quality or whenever there is work experience of specific relevance.

  • Consultant–Healthcare Technology (Health Technology Assessment)

i. Graduation in engineering/Biological sciences/Medicine/clinical research. A post-graduation in relevant discipline is desirable.
ii. Training/Experience on Health Technology Assessment including systematic review and health economic modeling.
iii. Published work in the area of health technology assessments or Economic evaluation or meta-analysis of published studies/trials on devices is desirable.
iv. Previous experience in compilation of health technology assessment reports is desirable.
v. Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, power point & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
vi. Good communication and presentation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
vii. Knowledge in Health systems development desirable.
viii. Willingness to travel to states & districts to collect technical information and ability to subsequently synthesize information into research evidence.

  • Consultant-Healthcare Financing (HCF): Medical / Dental/ Ayurveda degree from a reputed Institute with a Masters qualification in Public Health/Health Management or Health Financing; MBA (Finance) or Doctorate or M.Phil. in economics with work in health financing – Master’s In Economics could also be considered provided the candidate has published papers related to health. Minimum 2 years post qualification experience of working with health sector with focus on healthcare financing.
  • Consultant–Community Processes/Comprehensive Primary Healthcare

i. Possess an MBBS / BDS / AYUSH with a post graduate degree or diploma in Public Health/Epidemiology/IT/Communications
ii. Have at least 3 years post-qualification experience in implementation of health programmes, including community health
iii. Experience in direct implementation of health service delivery programmes through government, NGOs or Regional Resource Centres.
iv. Experience in one or all of the following: documentation, data analysis, and training.
v. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
vi. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

  • IT Manager

i. Graduate in B.Tech (IT/Computer) / BE (IT/Computer) / MCA
ii. 6 years of Post Qualification work experience in IT support Service/Network Management
iii. Good verbal and Writing skill in English/Hindi
