Eligibility Criteria for Scientist & Other Posts
Educational Qualification
- Scientist C (Medical): Candidate should possess Postgraduate Diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with 2 years’ experience. Or, MD with 1-year experience. Or, MBBS with Four years’ experience in Medical subjects.
- Scientist B (Medical): MBBS Degree with MD in PSM/MPH/Microbiology with 2 years’ experience.
- Scientist B (Non-Medical): First Class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences with 2 years’ experience. Or, Second class Master’s Degree with Ph.D in Life Sciences with one year experience.
- Project Technical Officer: Three years Graduate degree in life sciences/Statistics/Social Science with 05 years lab experience/ Medical Social Work. Or, M. Sc in Life Sciences / Statistics/Social Science/Sociology.
- Project Section Officer / Assistant (Admn.):Three years University Degree. Five years’ experience of Administration / finance and accounts work.
- Project Technical Assistant (Research):Three years Graduate degree in life sciences/ Statistics/Social Work. Or, M. Sc in life Sciences/ Statistics/Social Work/Sociology.
- Project Technician III (Lab):10+2 in Science subjects with two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology [DMLT].
- Project Technician I (Lab): Matriculation. One-year Certificate in the required discipline.
- Project Technical Assistant (Engg Supp.):Three years diploma in Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
- Project Technician I (Engg Supp):10th Pass with ITI / NCTVT in Electrical / Electronics / Refrigeration & Air-conditioning.
- Data Entry Operator – A:10+2 with Science and Maths. Speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
- Staff Nurse: Diploma in Nursing. Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered Nurse or ANM with State Nursing Council.
Age Limit
- Scientist C (Medical): Upper age limit for the post is 40 years.
- Scientist B [Medical], Scientist B (Non-Medical): 35 years.
- Project Technical Officer, Project Section Officer / Assistant (Admn.), Project Technical Assistant (Research), Project Technician III (Lab), Project Technical Assistant (Engg Supp.),Staff Nurse: 30 years
- Project Technician I (Lab), Project Technician I (Engg Supp), Data Entry Operator – A: 25 years.
